Objectives/purpose of the job:

• Develop,maintain,and enhance Java applications and services for our legacy and cloud platform.
• Investigate customer product and technical issues/defects and provide timely resolutions.
• Identify opportunities for root cause fixes to prevent issue recurrence,emphasizing a 'first time right' approach.
• Collaborate with engineers,product managers,and team members to ensure effective partnership and product understanding.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and actively advocate for best development practices.
• Lead individual projects when necessary,sharing your expertise to increase team productivity.
• Participate in key architectural decisions and design considerations.
• Collaborate with global Engineering,Product,and Release teams as required.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues,providing detailed root cause analysis.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Up-to-date experience with Java J2EE and related technologies.
• Experience with continuous deployment.
• Experience developing Microservices, RESTful services, or other SOA development.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with GIT, Confluence, etc.

Required experience and qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 7-8 years of experience in web-based application development using Java,J2EE.
• Proficiency in relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Distributed Systems,Caching,and Multi-threaded applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with attention to detail and ownership.
• Effective communication and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams effectively.
• Experience delivering software in Agile environments.

• Consideration for privacy and security obligations.
