Objectives/purpose of the job:

Funding Requirements:
  • Liaise with lenders and bankers.
  • Submit proposals, obtain sanctions, and handle documentation and disbursement.
  • Ensure loan compliances and prepare financial models.
Negotiations:
  • Negotiate with lenders and bankers.
  • Obtain sanction letters and coordinate with trustees.
  • Appoint and coordinate with rating agencies and lawyers.
Documentation:
  • Handle due diligence, documentation for new facilities, and security creation.
  • Coordinate with the secretarial team for board resolutions and other documentation.
  • Manage escrow and new bank accounts, security cover, and registration of mortgages.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Arrange end-use certificates, track covenants, and submit MIS to management.
  • Ensure timely servicing of loan interest and repayments.
  • Negotiate reductions in interest and charges.
Investments and Transactions:
  • Monitor, analyze, and finalize investments, property transactions, and settlements.
  • Manage day-to-day treasury and banking relations activities.
Corporate Structure Review:
  • Continuously review the structure of companies.
  • Plan and implement mergers, demergers, and restructuring.
MIS Preparation:
  • Prepare and submit MIS statements to various lenders within the timelines.
Business Support:
  • Interact with business teams to provide finance and commercial workings.

Interactions

Internal Interactions:
  • Collaborate with project teams, legal teams, HR teams, corporate finance teams, and corporate secretarial teams to complete activities on time.
External Interactions:
  • Regular interaction with lenders, bankers, rating agencies, lawyers, and trustees to ensure successful funding and compliance.

Financial Dimensions

  • Fund raising and effective fund management.

  • Tax-efficient and commercially beneficial transactions.
  • Income tax compliance on borrowing-related activities.

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in fund raising, banking, treasury, business strategy, and MIS.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and analytical skills related to funding matters.
