Objectives/purpose of the job:

  1. Organization Design Studies:

    • Lead and manage assigned organization design studies for recommending effective designs.
    • Propose new organization structures and manpower numbers, coordinating with department heads for implementation.
    • Create draft deliverables for organization design studies.
  2. Special Projects/Initiatives:

    • Manage organization design projects from start to finish.
    • Drive data sanitization efforts across the organization.
    • Support implementation of HR processes.
    • Analyze and generate MIS reports as required.
  3. Manpower Resource Planning:

    • Review and manage Annual Staffing Plan (ASP) in coordination with Business HR.
    • Finalize structures and numbers in ASP to establish the Human Capital budget.
    • Assess manpower requirements based on changes in business scenarios.

Interactions:

  • External:

    Collaborate with consulting organizations and vendor partners like EY, BCG, etc.

  • Internal:

    Work with business representatives, Business HR, SSC team, and other departments to gather information, implement changes, and facilitate organization design studies.

Required experience and qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • MBA with specialization in HR.
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience, preferably from Tier II institutes.
