1. I cannot find Shrofile on App/Play Store

Dear User, please go to the “About section of your phone in settings and make sure that the Android version is greater than 5.0 (i.e. Lollipop and above) and IOS version is above 9.0

2. I do not have enough space to download Shrofile

Dear User, kindly delete some unwanted apps, pictures and videos inorder to create enough space for downloading Shrofile

3. What do I need to do after I have signed up and verified my email?

Dear User, after email verification you need to go to the login section of the app and type in your username and password to login to the app

4. I am unable to login

Dear User, please check the email id and password you are entering is correct

5. How do I reset my password ?

Dear User, please click on ‘Forgot Password’ on login page to reset your password. A password recovery link will be sent to your email ID. Follow instructions on the email to reset your password

6. Where do I choose the questions / expressions from?

Dear User, once you are logged in click on Shrofile logo icon at the bottom black panel of the screen and you will see a list of all expressions. Scroll and choose the one that you would like to respond to.

7. My camera is not opening up?

Dear User, go to ‘App Permissions’ section under ‘Settings’ and make sure camera permission is turned on.

8. My video upload is not going through?

Dear User, make sure you are in a good internet zone. Your video might take upto a couple of minutes to get created. Please wait for the red upload circle to complete. 9. How many times can I record a question?

Dear User, you can record and re-record a question as many times as you want and share the final video by making it public only when you are satisfied.

10. Do I need to make all my answers Public?

Dear User, you don’t have to make all your videos public. You can record and re-record the videos as many times as you want to, once you are satisfied to with your video then you can make it public. Shrofile helps you practise as many times as you want and share the videos you want to.

11. Why is my voice not getting recorded?

Dear User, Go to ‘App Permissions’ section under ‘Settings’ and make sure microphone permission is turned on.

12. Can I add any other information about myself?

Dear User, it is advisable that you add as much information as possible about yourself. The more you update the easier it will be for people to know you beyond your CV.

13. Can I delete the videos?

Dear User, You can delete a video but you should do so only if you want to trash it. Shrofile has a public and private feature which allows you to keep all your videos private until you are completely satisfied with your responses. So record as many videos as you want and keep them private, once you are satisfied then share.

14. How many videos should I make ?

Dear User, You should certainly make the videos that you are being asked to. However, you can choose to make as many videos as you like. It is an open platform so the choice is yours.

15. Do I have complete access and control over my videos?

Dear User, Shrofile does not only hep you with this IJP but with your overall presence on the internet. It is recommended that you don’t delete your videos. However, it is your choice as you have complete control over your profile.

17. Can anyone make their video profile?

Dear User, Shrofile is an open platform for the world. Just like LinkedIn, any professional can make their video personality profiles and share with others. We believe that a professional is more than a CV, hence, Shrofile focuses on understanding a professional’s personality i.e. their thoughts, choices, preferences etc.

18. What do I do if my phone is not compatiable with Shrofile?

Dear User, Shrofile is a user friendly app and supports Lollipop and above for android users and iOS 9 and above for iPhone users. Kindly upgrade your phone’s software and start recording now.

19. Can I take help from someone else for scripting my answers?

Dear User, Shrofile helps you to share your personality snapshot hence it is recommended that you record your own views, opinions and feelings in your own words. Be yourself and show your uniqueness. You can take someon’e help to shoot the videos for you though.

20. Can I record when I do not have internet access?

Dear user, you need to have a good internet connection in order to have a seamless video recording experience with Shrofile
